Revision

Think in ranges and how certain hands would react to your line of play

e.g. If villain has lots of gutshots IP- we want to bet our A highs instead of checking and having to fold to a bet at later streets with a better hand

(ALWAYS THINK IN PERCEIVED RANGES)

vs Limps

Determine the player type and assign them a range

Fish/weak players- limping very wide but some will have AA and KK as limp raises

-we should always discount the strong hands in their range

Good regs- almost always limping low PP and suited connectors + suited baby Ax

Bad regs- limping too wide from all spots

Isolating vs limpers

-add 1 BB for every limper

-iso tighter vs players who limps call a lot (usually happens on Upoker)

-iso looser vs players who limps fold a lot

-in early position, we isolate tighter and we rather iso raise or fold rather than overlimp (except small PP or suited connectors)

-> vs weak players who limp calls a lot = we want to isolate to very big sizings as they are almost always calling our raise (to 10bb)

-isolating on very passive tables- we want to isolate our PP as we can flop a set and play for stacks + passive players will often call preflop and fold to flop bet

-isolating more often to get the pot heads up vs whales (if whales in the BB we still want to iso raise vs MP open as we want to play pot against BB but not too many ppl in the pot)

What range do we use to isolate?

-Always isolate 1 position tighter than we would RFI

-> e.g. we would isolate using HJ'range when isolating from the CO

When to overlimp?

-use hands that are not good enough to iso-raise (non suited connectors) where it has a lot of play ability postflop (JTo, QTo, KJo) also overlimping suited connectors and baby suited Kx

-limping SB tighter than tournaments where we only limp weak hands vs weaker players

Flatting

Questions to ask yourself:

1) Who raised?

2) Who are behind?

3) Who are in the blinds?

4) What are their stacksizes? (play more high card hands vs short stacks)

We always want to play pots with weaker players therefore we want to isolate if a weak player raises, we want to flat more hands if weak players are in the blinds

vs aggro and regs, we want to flat call less and 3bet more in order to not let them in from the blinds

vs many squeezers behind we rather 3bet or fold rather than flatcalls

in general we want to flatcall more suited hands but we can include some offsuited hands if villain is weak

-flat call offsuit broadways when villain's range is fairly weak but do not call it if villain's range is strong

3Betting

When to 3bet?

1) Get value from worse hands

2) Isolating weak players

3) Get better hands to fold (use semi-linear range vs players capable of folding preflop- turning bottom of our range into a bluff)

4) Gain initiative (uncapped range)

What do we 3bet?

Linear range: 88+, AQo+ and AJs+

(no 3bet bluffs as most players do not fold to 3bet)

Later positions: we open up our range as their ranges are looser (suited broadways)

-use semi-linear range especially vs regs who can fold

Flat or 3bet? (USE THE RANGE)

1) Fish and weak players behind

-flat more in order to let them into the pot

2) vs regs/aggros behind

-3bet more as we want to isolate the pot

3) vs fish/weak opener

-3bet more to isolate

4) Reg opener

-flat more medium strength hands

Squeezing

-only use strong linear range ALWAYS (weakest hands often AJo or KQo)

Run it Once

Probe betting Turn

-over betting with our bluffs and some value hands when villain checks back flop

When is villain's range capped?

1) Just calling on wet boards OOP

2) Just calling vs merged betting range

-here we can keep barreling on blank turns as villain often raises their value hands

*however multiway villain's range is often uncapped even if they just called and not raise

Sizings vs capped & uncapped range

Over-bet: (vs capped range)

-nutted hands

-value hands that unblock good worse hands

-high nut-potential bluff (semi bluff)

-bluffs that blocks better hands (good blockers)

1/2-3/4 bet (vs capped range)

-less nutted value hands (protection)

-value hands that unblock weak worse hands

-lower nut-potential bluffs (gutshots to low straights, low flush draws)

-bluffs that unblock strong better hands

Big bet: (vs uncapped range)

-bluffs/semi-bluffs

-decent value hands and better (do not bet medium strength hands as villain's range is not weak)

E.g. on blank turns and villain's range is capped- we can choose between 2 sizes: overbet and modest bet- we choose to bet smaller with weaker top pairs and turned gutshots

-we overbet with stronger holdings and open ended draws to the nuts (or nut flush draw on the turn)

on high card turn as PFR we can bet big when villain's range is uncapped (multiway)

on dynamic turn as PFR- villain's range becomes uncapped which allows us to only bet big rather than overbet with our value hands (villain's capped n uncapped can change with many different turns and rivers)

Bluffcatching

1) Use population tendencies

2) If in doubt- call with positive blockers + fold with negative blockers

3) Accept it might be close and do not feel downed if it was incorrect (always analyse later)

When to overfold?

-overfold when villain is under-bluffing (depends on player types)

-Texture implies that there are less natural bluffs (monotone boards, static boards)

-> when their range is very value heavy (airless range) where villain is not capable of turning many hands into a bluff (villain could have too many value hands) -e.g. 1 card straight board

When to over-call?

-overcall when villain is over-bluffing (player type: aggro recs, aggro maniacs, aggro regs

-we can call down more vs aggro fish as they are often bluffing too much

-on brick run outs that villain could have many missed draws- we can over-call with our bluff catchers as aggro players will very often barrel away their missed draws (we use good blockers always)

Attacking/Handling capped ranges in low stakes

1) Overbet: bluffs and semi-bluffs

2) Modest bet: value/protection

3) Check: hands with SDV

Common Range Checking Spots

1) SB vs BB on wetter boards

2) OOP vs HJ/CO/BU flats on non-high board [T86rb] (we rather check/call in these spots)

3) OOP as 3-bettor on monotone low boards (we have disadvantage here)

*We never range check IP as it is too slow for pot building*

Range-betting flop in 3bet flop

1) On A high boards and low boards that does not connect with PFC and does not change the situation from preflop

-e.g. A87 or 477

On high card dynamic boards we can mix in some checking and include some value bets with our strongest value hands

-e.g. JT7ss

Playing Turns after Range betting the flop (checking more when called on the flop rather than barrel off our whole stack)

-when villain calls our flop bet, their range becomes narrowed therefore their range becomes stronger while our range remains the same with many weak hands- we want to check on blank turns often as now our range advantage is gone

Polarizing/Selective Betting in 3bet pots as PFR

-On certain boards we want to range check after 3betting as the board connects too well with the PFC's range rather than our range

e.g. T96rb, 653sss, KJ9, QT7ss

Thought Process On Any Hand

PREFLOP
1) What player type raised?
2) What player types are behind?
3) What player types are in the blinds?
4) What are their stack sizes?

Always think in terms of their range -> which position did they open/flat from?

Our Adjustments vs Different Player Types
1) Good regs
-play GTO with good bluffing/value frequency
2) Loose aggro
-never bluff them
-defend 3bet wider
-check to induce bluffs when draws missed
-use overbets vs calling station
3) Loose passive
-go mainly for value
-make hero fold often vs them
4) Tight passive
-make hero fold vs them VERY OFTEN
-tighten up vs their open raise
-raise very strong hands straight away vs their aggression
5) ABC/Semi regs
-we can bluff vs this player type
6) Maniac/whale
-widen our value range
-never bluff them
-use big sizings with value hands
-go for VALUE VALUE VALUE

FLOP

1) What are their ranges?
-if they have wider range we go thinner for value
2) How many streets of value do I have?
-1 or 2 max, we check the flop
3) How many opponents are in the pot?
-vs multiple-> we bet polarized range, HU- we bet depolarized range
4) Board texture
-the wetter the board, the more polarized we bet
5) vs which player types?
-adjust accordingly to different player types

Facing checks IP
-we bet very wide as their checking range is very weak

Facing a bet
1) What is their range?
-lots of bluffs or value heavy?
2) What are their barreling frequencies?
-if they barrel a lot-> just call with strong hands

TURN

1) How did the turn hit each player's range?
2) Continue betting with strongest value hands and strongest bluffs
3) Think about what certain player types would do with certain hands
-eg. tight passive bet the flop and bet the turn on a paired turn -> he will likely not have trips as he would've checked the flop with the middle pair
4) vs Weaker player when they check/raise the turn on a middle pair card
-> always fold as they have no bluffing range there at all
5) "Is villain good enough to turn flush draws and straight draws into a bluff?"
-If no-> vs their check raise we always fold
6) vs aggro players -> we include very strong hands in our checking range in order to check/shove as they will never fold top pairs

RIVER

1) Board interaction and runouts
-if many draws completed - we pot control
2) Number of opponents
-bet tighter vs multiple opponents
3) Opponent tendencies and player types
-vs different player types we use different sizings and betting ranges
4) Opponent's line and action
-lots of checking = weak line
-lots of betting esp. on flop and turn = strong line
5) Our realistic range
-more bluffs in our range = bigger sizing we can go

BLUFFING

* Is our opponent capable of folding value hands?*
- if no -> never bluff vs them (loose aggro, whales and loose passives)

Tips for Playing Rivers

vs a whale
-we want to bet small with our value hands on very dry boards for them to call wide
-vs small bets on the river, we should always raise our top pairs thin for value as they will always bet big with their strong hands

vs loose passive
-if he leads turn and river-> he usually does not have a flush draw or any draws as they will play those passively-> we can overfold when draws missed

vs semi-reg
-we should go for thin value with our low 1 card fullhouse when we think he might have a flush or some strong holdings-> we bet fold for max value

EVEN IF AN OVER CARD HIT ON OUR POCKET PAIR -> THINK ABOUT VILLAIN'S RANGE-> they will not hit that card nearly enough therefore we can keep betting

LEARN TO GO FOR SMALL THIN VALUE BETS VS WHALE (do not go too big) to get max value from a very wide range on the river

vs reg
-when the turn hits their range we should check and evaluate on the river
-> vs a river bet ALWAYS THINK IN TERMS OF THEIR RANGE
"we might have top 2 pairs but he still has trips and straights in his range" therefore we fold

ALWAYS THINK OF THEIR RANGE
-we can sometimes profitably bet overpair even when the flush hits the river as they still have many top pair hands that may call therefore we go for thin value and fold vs a raise
"villain still has enough worse hands to call for it to be a profitable bet"

vs tight passive
-when the flush hits on the river -> we can always make a hero fold with our sets as they are never bluffing

When villain bets small on flop after 3betting -> we can float with our gutshots and backdoor hamds unless if he bets big we fold
-> if they 3bet and check the turn-> their range is very capped therefore we can profitably bet the river as a bluff

vs loose aggro players
-we should check/call with our middling hands in order to induce bluffs
->esp. on low boards when we have small pocket pairs-> shouldn't bet as they will fold

vs good regs
-if they double barrel into 2 people and check the river
WE NEVER BLUFF
-they bet the turn into 2 callers mean they have a very strong range + they check the river to induce some bluffs

vs loose players
-we do not want to bluff them on the river as they will always call light

ALWAYS THINK ABOUT THEIR WHOLE RANGE
-"if we want to keep betting our value range here we should also bet our bluffs"
-"the turn may complete 97s when villain called from BB, but he may also have weak middle pairs, weak top pairs and other draws that might fold to a bet threfore we want to keep betting with our gutshots"
-we want to bet our bluffs the same way we bet our value hands vs regs

on dry boards
-when we check raise vs semi-reg and they call
-> we should be very careful as they will usually fold all their bluffs to a raise therefore their range is very narrow- WE STOP BLUFFING
vs good regs when we check/raise and barrel the turn
-> if they still call we want to shut down all our bluffs on the river

When both regs check behind on flop -> we can lead turn with all our draws as their range is fairly capped
-> when the flush hits the river we can bet as a bluff as we have many flush draws and he does not when he check back the flop

IF WHALE LIMPS- ALWAYS ISO RAISE ATLEAST 6BB WITH VALUE HANDS

vs ABC regs
-we can triple barrel bluff as they know how to fold

When we flop nut flush draw
-> we can lead vs loose passive
-> when we block the nut flush draw-> we should always lead the river with our value hands rather than checking to induce bluff as it is more likely they do not have many draws

WHEN PASSIVE PLAYER RAISE ON THE RIVER
-> FOLD 100% OF OUR RANGE EXCEPT THE NUTS

When we have an overpair and the turn is another top pair-> we can play tighter and even fold the river to a big bet as their range consists of many trips

When a reg check back the flop- we can discount all overpairs, flush draws and good top pairs as they will bet the flop with all those hands
-> when he bets the river after the flushdraw hits, we can discount any flush in his range and make hero calls often

When playing vs good players
-we always have to consider what the turn is
-if it brings any backdoors possibility we have to take that into consideration when he bets the turn
-we always call down a bit lighter vs regs as their range is fairly balanced

vs tight passive players
-always overfold even top pairs with low kickers-> they are never bluffing

When we hit 2 pair on a 1 card straight board
-> if we think villain's range consists of many over pairs
-we can lead out small to get value from overpairs but not too big

vs a whale
->we do not bluff the river even if we have no showdown value -> they never fold

ALWAYS THINK IN TERMS OF THEIR RANGES

When loose passive player checks a lot-> we assume we have the best hand when all draws missed

vs bad aggressive player-> we should check river to induce bluff when their draws missed

vs a whale -> always bet for max value with our top pairs on the river to get value from their wide range
-> do not be scared of scary turns and rivers

General Tips on Playing the Turn

On very low wet boards-> villain's check back range is usually very weak
-we can exploit them by betting very wide on the turn

Sometimes it is more profitable to slowplay very strong hands vs very aggro opponents even when the board is fairly draw heavy-> let them hang themself

All middling type hands should be in our check/call range on the turn

*Always think about what different player types would do with certain hands*
eg. loose passive bets flop on [K5T] and turn is [T]
-he most likely do not have a T as he is passive and will check back Tx on the flop

Loose passive players check call a lot of hands but they do not bet a lot of hands -> can narrow down their range when they bet quite significantly

When betting turn
-does villain have enough hands that will fold the turn in his flop calling range?
-how much equity do we have when we're called?

Vs weaker players when they check/raise the turn on a middle pair card
-ALWAYS FOLD AS THEY HAVE NO BLUFFING RANGE HERE
-is villain good enough to turn a flush draw/straight draws into a bluff?
-> if NO we always fold vs their check/raise

vs whale and loose passive we can always call wider than usual
-they have a very wide betting range (all pairs, draws)
-think about the whale's leading range and the other players' calling range

vs whale leading the turn
-we almost always just call with our value hands and call any river to a bet
-their range is usually way too wide to have enough value for us to fold our value hands

vs tight passive player donks
-we always assume they have a very strong range-> we overfold very often

ALWAYS THINK ABOUT VILLAIN'S RANGE
-when they have a polarized range we usually have to call with our middling hands

vs a reg
-think "would we bluff on this turn card?"
->if YES- we should call with our hand as it is possible our opponent is bluffing

ALWAYS THINK...
WHAT ARE THEIR RANGES?
WHAT PLAYER TYPES ARE WE PLAYING AGAINST?
HOW DO WE EXPLOIT THOSE PLAYER TYPES?

vs very aggro opponents
-we should check very strong hands on the turn to check/shove as they'll most likely call with worse top pairs and all draws
-when we have a very strong draw on the turn and we think he has many bluffs in his range -> we should check/shove to protect our equity vs their bluffs-> if we get called we still have a lot of equity + we have TONS of fold equity

vs passive players
-we always overfold when they check/raise as they have very few bluffs

Slowplaying rather than raising on the turn may be effective when playing vs a whale and loose aggro players as we keep in their bluffs + they may shove river with many worse hands

When drawing to the nuts-> we can justify calling the turn with many opponents even if it is only a gutshot-> we have tons of implied odds

When we have many strong hands in our flop calling range -> we can raise the turn with our weak pair as a bluff (ONLY IF VILLAIN KNOWS HOW TO FOLD)

When we have an over pair on a flush and straight draw board -> we can raise the turn vs a lead from weaker players in order to get value from their top pairs and charge the draws he is betting

vs loose aggro players
-we have to know villain has a very wide range therefore we can go thinner for value
eg a set on a draw completed board when villain 3bet pre
-> he will always call with his overpairs + a pair and flush draws

THINK ABOUT YOUR OPPONENT
WHAT PLAYER TYPE?
WHAT ARE THEIR LEAKS?
WHAT IS THEIR RANGE?
HOW DO WE EXPLOIT THESE PLAYER TYPES?

Bluff Catching Theory

1) DO WE BEAT SOME OF THEIR VALUE RANGE?
-player dependent-> look at their actions preflop to postflop
-"how thin do they go for value?"
-"are they making random bets?"
-IF CLOSE -> MAKE THE HERO CALL

2) PLAYER TYPES
vs MANIACS/AGGROS/FISH
-lots of bad aggression and random bets
-look for tilts + egos
-we assign them high ratio of bluffs and value hands
CALL THEM DOWN LIGHTER

vs LOOSE PASSIVE
-usually just betting their hand and not their range
-very rarely bluffing multistreet/ big pots
-GIVE THEM CREDIT BUT WE CAN SOMETIMES BEAT SOME OF THEIR VALUE HANDS

vs TIGHT PASSIVE
-always have what they're repping
HAVE A VALUE HEAVY RANGE
NO NEED TO BLUFF CATCH AT ALL

vs REGS/SEMI-REGS
-very balanced and not many random holdings
MORE SKEWED TO VALUE HEAVY RANGE

3) ABILITY TO GET TO SHOWDOWN
-if we think we won't get to showdown -> we can fold right away when facing flop/turn bets
-IP and small sizings we can float much wider
-depends on players types + different board textures

WET BOARDS
-harder to get to showdown
-tighter betting range on flop -> they have many strong hands + draws
HERE WE CAN FOLD OUR MEDIUM VALUE HANDS RIGHT AWAY
eg. KT on [JT8]-> lots of bad turn cards so we fold right away vs aggression

DRY BOARD
-easier to get to showdown
-wider betting range on flop + not many draws and strong hands possible
-harder for opponent to improve on many turns so we can float wider
eg. 99 on [TT5] 3way -> they can be betting a 5 or weaker pocket pairs so we can float
eg. KJ on [K64] very dry therefore easier to get to showdown

vs WEAKER/PASSIVE PLAYERS
-easier to get to showdown -> often bluffing once with wide range and give up
-here we can float wider

vs MANIACS/AGGROS
-harder to get to showdown
-wider range -> we float wider but prepare to call down more often
-if runout doesnt improve their range we may have to call down

vs REGS
-can expect reasonable barreling
-think about their actions + most obvious bluffs + draws and value hands
eg. they raised UTG we defend BB, they will cbet 100% of their range on the flop

vs TIGHT PASSIVE
-usually hard to get to showdown
-preflop and cbetting range is very tight and value heavy

4) RANGE COMPOSITION
-what player type?
-what position?
-what are the actions preflop and postflop?
-narrow down their range on all streets

HOW WIDE IS THEIR VALUE RANGE ON TURN/RIVER?
-very wide? we do not need to bluff catch at all
eg. [JTQ][4][6] vs triple barrel -> they have very strong range therefore no point bluff catching
-very narrow? we can bluff catch more often
eg. [TT3][2][3] vs triple barrel
-> here opponent is repping either a T or nothing -> we can hero call more often

5) BOARD TEXTURE/RUNOUTS
-how wide their bluffing range is on turns and rivers?
-> if many draws improved, their value/bluff ratio is high therefore we can not bluff catch often
eg. [3JT][4][A]
-KQ and AJ improved therefore we don't want to call down light in this spot
eg. [8T4][Q] flush complete vs double barrel
-he could have a flush. J9 or QT so we cannot call down light

IF MANY DRAWS BRICKED...
their bluffing ratio may be high therefore we can bluffcatch more
eg. [9Q3][4] 2 FD
->his flop cbet has gutshots, BDFD and FD therefore we still want to call with the same frequencies as the flop
eg. [T8K][5][3] - FD missed vs aggro barreler
-> the straight draw missed, FD missed therefore we can bluffcatch here

6) TABLE FORMATION
-what position is he raising from?
-how many players are in the pot?

IF BETTOR IS IP-> HE HAS MORE BLUFF IN HIS RANGE
IF BETTOR IS OOP -> HE HAS LESS BLUFFS

SAME FOR RAISES AND CHECK/RAISES
-if he check/raises with many players behind-> very strong range
-if he check/raises HU IP-> could have some bluffs

7) OPPONENTS' LINE

UNDERBLUFFED LINES:
a) Multistreet aggresion
eg. OOP triple barrel
eg. 3bet, bet, bet IP
b) River raises
-> almost always nutted -> make massive hero folds often
c) Turn check/raise non all-in with money behind

8) OUR PERCEIVED RANGE
-is opponent good enough to factor in our perceived range?

WHEN OUR PERCEIVED RANGE IS STRONG = BLUFF CATCH LESS
-players will bluff us less + we have stronger hands to call down in this spot
eg. [A56][6][T] - here we have tons of Ax and they have little fold equity-> they will not bluff this run out
-> here we can easily lay down our pocket pairs and weak Ax
eg. IP on [JT3][6][9] flush completing river
-> after we called twice we can have KQ and flushes that improved therefore they will not be bluffing in this spot very wide

WHEN PLAYING VS CALLING STATION -> HE EXPECTS YOU TO CALL WIDE
-we can make hero folds more often

WHEN OUR PERCEIVED RANGE IS WEAK/CAPPED = WE HERO CALL MORE
-players will look to attack our weak range
eg. 98 OOP on [924][3][Q] vs aggro barreler
-> if aggro player bets big on an overcard-> they are usually bluffing

IF YOUR RANGE IS CAPPED AND YOU'RE PLAYING VS AN AGGRO PLAYER, YOU HAVE TO MAKE SOME HERO CALLS IN THE RIGHT SPOTS

9) SIZINGS
BIGGER SIZING = STRENGTH IN GENERAL
OVERBETS = VALUE -> make hero folds
SMALL BETS OFTEN THIN VALUE -> RANDOM BETS (3rd, 4th pair)

Playing Deep (200bb+)

MAIN CONCEPTS
-THE DEEPER THE STACKS, THE MORE IP HAS ADVANTAGE
-tighten up slightly from early positions

PREFLOP ADJUSTMENTS
-hand selection is very important
-> good pocket pairs, Axs and suited broadways which has high implied odds
-> value goes down for offsuit hands and weak suited connectors
-these hands are dominated too often therefore should just fold preflop
-> defend BB tighter when DEEP
-> less 4 bet and 5betting preflop when deep
- get it in range 300bb+ is mostly KK+ therefore we rather flat the whole range
-however we can exploit by shoving AA to stack KK

PREFLOP IP
-isolate weaker players fairly loose when playing deep
-flat wider range when IP
-can call more 3bets when IP
-more implied odds + can defend more vs small sizings
-however still only use high suited ranges and good pairs

PREFLOP OOP
-use bigger sizings with 4bets (4.5-6x)
-reduce SPR and high benefit from winning pot preflop
-vs 3bet we continue very strong range with high implied odds (OOP)
-> PPs, good SCs, suited broadways and suited Ax
-> avoid lowest suited connectors and offsuited broadways
-> can call more hands to a 4bet when 200bb+ deep

FLOP PLAY
(Aggressor)
OOP-> keep pot small with marginal holdings (check/calling)
-also include some strong holdings in our check call range
eg. AA on [784]ss OOP vs reg
-hard to get 3 streets of .value so we check/call flop
-all flushes and straight outs favor IP player a lot
IP -> widen bluffing range and leverage stack size on future street
-exploit weaker players by sizing up for max value with our value hands

(Caller)
OOP -> playing defensively and keeping pot small
IP -> can float and raise wider when deep
eg. QTs on [J63] BDFD vs wide cbet
-we can often raise here as we can continue on lots of turn (deep stacked)

TURN PLAY
-can utilize overbets often
-apply max pressure to opponent with value and bluffs
-look for spots where turn improves our range
eg. BU vs CO as 3bettor on [J22][Q]
- we can overbet here with value hands (AA, KK)
+ add bluffs (AK, T9s, ATs)
-we can use 2/3 sizings with QQ as it blocks their Qx calling range
eg. UTG+2 vs BB [J94][3]
-turn is brick and villain wil check/raise flop often with 2 pairs or sets
-we still have all overpairs and sets
-good spot here to overbet with strong Jx and bluffs

RIVER PLAY
ALWAYS LOOK FOR THIN VALUE BETS
-careful in multiway pots vs many players
-LEARN TO BET/FOLD FOR MAX VALUE
OVERBET WITH GOOD VALUE ARE KEY
eg. 55 on [Q57][T][2] vs station
- we can shove river as they never fold Qx and rarely bluff
-vs regs we can add some bluffs
eg. AA on [862][3][3] vs regs
-triple barrel and river shove
-our range is 88 or air therefore opponent will hero call often
-here we can use some backdoor clubs as bluffs

WHEN FACING TRIPLE BARREL
-often very strong especially when pot is huge on river
-overbets are especially strong
-vs regs/fish we still need to call down at good frequencies
-pay attention to their showdown hands
-how wide is their value range?
-> very narrow? often he will overbluffing
aggro fish especially can be overbluffing a lot
-> value range very wide? give them credit

WHEN FACING RIVER RAISE WE CAN MAKE HERO FOLDS OFTEN
(even more underbluffed when deepstacked)

Multiway + Limped Pots

MULTIWAY
(Aggressor)
-betting very strong range
-only betting good value hands + strongest bluffs
"how many streets of value do I have?"
1 or 2: check top pair often
-big sizings with our strongest range especially vs fish/ stations
-very big sizings on wet boards
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DRAWS HIT= MORE COMBOS MULTIWAY

(Caller)
-tight continuing range vs strong range
eg. someone raise preflop and bet into 6 people on flop- VERY STRONG RANGE
-we want to call when we have clean outs and backdoor draws
-avoid marginal and obvious draws-> lots of reverse implied odds
eg. A8 on [9TJ]
-we want to check raise strong value and strongest bluffs
-fast play strong hands on wet boards -> use very big sizings
eg. 99 on [94J] ditone- use very big sizings

VERY VERY TIGHT CALL DOWN RANGES VS MULTIPLE BARRELS

LIMPED POTS
-lead out with 2 pairs or sets on dry boards vs passive players as check/raising on dry boards look very strong and could lose value
eg. 25 on [K25]-> we lead big
-we also lead out with our flopped straights, flushes
-we sometimes lead strongest draws vs many players
-but we fold our marginal baby draws multiway as someone can have higher flush draws
-we can include some check raise with good draws and strong value on wet boards vs aggro players
eg. 55 on [58T] 7way-> we can raise very big
